How To Install Latest Firmware On Nokia Lumia 830

Nokia Lumia 830 also known as Nokia RM-984 is one of the most popular Lumia Series, today I will explain how to upgrade your Nokia Lumia 830 to latest firmware for free, all you need is a Windows powered computer and a stable internet connection. Before that, I want to make a short product review for Nokia Lumia 830, if you looking for Nokia Lumia 830 firmware, just scroll down a few paragraph okay. :)

This Lumia 830 is not quite a budget smartphone, pricing at $250 for brand new phone. So far, all Lumia keep the same design, big screen, rounded edge and a colorful back cover. This model have many advantages as well as a few disadvantages which I will list for you. I will start with advantages of this model, it have a big 5 inches touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection, excellent standby time thanks to 2200 mAh massive battery, a high resolution 10 megapixels back camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a optical image stabilize.

The phone lack a few thing such as the design is very poor, the body is made from a cheap plastic material, the front camera is so sad only 0.9 megapixels, it’s suppose to have minimum 2 megapixels for clearer video calling. The Nokia Lumia 830 is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor but I still think this phone is slow compared to my made-in-china android smartphone. I think that Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS have many bugs or not really efficient operating system. That’s all my review, now let’s get back to our main topic, the firmware! :)

How To Upgrade Nokia Lumia 830 Firmware

The Nokia Lumia 830 firmware can be upgraded using a pc suite software, for best performance, I recommend you to have at least 512KBps internet connection because the firmware size is very big. So first thing you need to do is download this pc suite. Don’t worry about the usb driver are included in this software okay :).

Download Nokia Lumia 830 Firmware This link is hosted on Microsoft OneDrive, extract and double click "NokiaCareSuiteForStore-5.4.119.1432.exe" or "Nokia DataPackage Manager 2013.7.5.msi", installation may take up to 10 minutes depend on your computer speed.
